Labor Day is still more than a week away, and really, not much of a holiday (I don't even get the day off of work). Still, it's all we've got for a few more months and it got me wondering, what's your favorite holiday?
Mine is probably Thanksgiving, because of the time spent with family and the relaxed nature of it (as opposed to it's frenzied holiday neighbor, Christmas). In recent years, I've also developed a fondness for Halloween, because of a few stellar Halloween parties (and these costumes.)
Down to the point: Today I want to know, what's your favorite holiday?

Socially: New Year's Adam. I'm still with my favorite family and friends, but the rush of Christmas is over, and the new year is so full of hope and possibility that I still have a whole day to ponder.
ReplyDeleteSpiritually: Christmas Eve, because it's so magical. And there's just nothing like singing Silent Night at the end of a Candlelight service.

Indulgent-eating-wise: Thanksgiving.

OH ABI. My answers are identical to yours.
ReplyDeleteI should say though, that my birthday is truly the most treasured and enjoyed day of the year for me. : )
I love Christmas the absolute most. Like Abi, Christmas Eve is probably my fave. Thanksgiving is another favorite though I dislike the colors associated with this day. Easter is the third. Because of pastel candy and Jesus' resurrection and such. :)
