On today's What's Up Wednesday, I'm wondering, what's your favorite form of cardio exercise?
I usually try to keep my cardio varied, because I get bored easily. Lately, though, I've been putting a lot of emphasis on biking and running because of my upcoming duathlon (Side freak out: IT'S IN LESS THAN TWO WEEKS). After Saturday's reconsideration of my running goals, I started thinking maybe I should start trying new forms of cardio again. I thought I'd peer into your worlds and see if I can steal some ideas from you. What's your favorite way to sweat? Walks with friends? Hiking? Dancing? Group exercise classes?
Oh, and of course, make sure you've checked out the other What's Up Wednesdays:

My absolute favorite way to sweat is running, even though I haven't been a runner for over 10 years now. My current favorite way to sweat is mowing the grass. Plus, there's the added pleasure of standing in the air conditioning looking out our bedroom window after a cold shower with a huge cup of water, admiring our beautiful yard.

I love to hike, kickbox and boogie board. Also, I am becoming a runner. Yesterday was the best ever running experience I've had. I think the key to not being miserable is to think about other things while running. Yesterday I prayed for everyone I loved while running and it was amazing!
ReplyDeleteI've been running a lot lately too. It really is good for clearing my head. Also, lately I've been doing cardiolates (pilates and cardio intervals) and Just Dance. :)
ReplyDeleteI love hiking (of course), but I think my favourite cardio is Zumba classes. I haven't been running much lately, since I got SO obsessive about it last time I was training, but am thinking of adding a run or two each week to build up my fitness until I'm allowed to train for another half or full marathon.
ReplyDeleteI love Amie's idea of praying while running. My best experiences while running have been prayer-filled times as well. :)
