My Week in Two Minutes!

Here's my next edition of my video VLOG!

Just know that in my head I pictured a count down timer clock in the corner of this video, so we could all watch and see if I make it within my self-imposed two minute time limit. Turns out there is no automatic countdown clock feature in imovie and it would've been way time consuming for me to construct my own.  So, I guess you'll just need to watch the timer embedded by YouTube to see if I make it!

After you have reviewed the video, check out some clarifying thoughts by clicking the "Read More" link below.  I had to hide them from you so you wouldn't read them before watching the video!

1. I realize there is audio in the vlog, although I say it is "neither audio nor visual."
2. I realize that me saying I "danced all over the stage" is both inaccurate and makes it sound like I go to one cray-cray church.  I mean, we are a little bit rock 'n roll, but we're not crazy. Although we did do a crazy thing this week where we decided to give 100% of our offering away to an organization that helps young girls (like girls ages 12-17) come out of prostitution.  They're going to use the money we gave to purchase and refurbish a group home for the girls. Anyway, I did not dance all over the stage, just a little bit on my spot on the choir risers. If you'd like to check out our service, you can view it here.
3. I probably should've said Eric tolerated being hit in the head, not that he "liked it."
4. I should probably say that the people who worked at Chipotle that night were really awesome and let me try a couple of different things so I could make sure I was getting something I liked. First, and probably only, time I will do shots of meat.
5. You can find the Lizzie Bennett Diaries at www.lizziebennet.com. PS Happy 200th birthday to Pride and Prejudice!
6. Looks like I should've talked faster or given myself a three-minute window.  Oh, well, live and learn.
Have a great night!

  1. Let me say, this is the first vlog (or should I say "va-log-a") I've watch of yours and it was hilarious. I heard the story of the crazy dancing from my dad and I LOLed big time because I can absolutely imagine that happening. Also, I am surprised that was the first time Luis got you to go to Chipotle considering how much he Instagrams (sadly, my only form of communication with Luis) about it. Also also, I am glad you are still a Moe's fan. Moe's til I die.
Lastly, I am totally looking into the Lizzie Bennett Diaries because it sounds a-mazing.

    That is all.

    1. Ha! I love that you know the level of Luis' love for Chipotle solely through Instagram. He's never gotten me to go because of my staunch support of Moe's (glad to hear you're a fan!), but we've come to a truce. I go to try Chipotle with him and he comes to try Moe's with me. We'll see if that ever happens, though.

    2. TAYB! (Wait, should I call you TAYC now?! That feels real weird, though. I'll stick with TAYB. For now) WHAAAT?! I have lots of ways to communicate with people! Let's communicate! It saddens me that sadly it's your only form of communication with me.

JILL. I am loviiiiiiiing this vlog. I am all about it right now. YOU GO!

  2. This is my favorite vlog to date! I did also lik the hand puppets and would like to see more of them. I laughed out loud a few times... I think once during one of your many mentions of the timer. : )

  3. You actually hit the 2 minute mark right as you said, "I really wish I had set a timer!" I laughed hysterically more than once. I love your vlogs (and your blogs).

Agreed with you and Taylor: Moe's til I die. Unless Chipotle gets tofu (they're testing in some markets!), in which case the race might be a little tighter.

  4. Yes, the shower is great - your plumbing-skills are quite impressive. Thank you for fixing it so quickly!
