What's-Up Wednesday
I'm starting a new series called What's-Up Wednesdays. I do a lot of sharing on this blog, but I'd like to hear more from you. Don't worry, I'm not going to be asking deep probing questions each week, just fun things. I hope you'll share your answers with me in the comments.
So for this inaugural What's-Up Wednesday, I'm wondering, "If Hollywood wanted to make a movie of your life, who would you choose to play you?"
There are not a lot of curly-haired size 18s in the movie business, but I was asked this question long ago and came up with Nia Vardalos from My Big Fat Greek Wedding. She's the closest I'm getting to a Hollywood doppleganger. Plus, she's sassy and funny, just like me (if I do say so myself).

I'd say Reese Witherspoon. She's blonde, southern and funny. I think that describes me pretty well. :)

Yours, Amie's and April's are spot on. I have thought about this and actually have no idea. When the whole FB thing was to post a picture of who you are told you like was going on, I could only think of Mom. LOL, so maybe my Mom should play me? She is kind of a rock star in her own way.

I have the same problem you do, except I have the added niggle of finding someone who's 5'10" with wavy hair and wears a size 18. I'd settle for Melissa McCarthy -- it's hardly settling because I LOVE her -- if they could stand her on an 8- or 9-inch box. Camryn Manheim could be another possibility, but she's quite a bit older than me.
ReplyDeleteJill- I think yours, Amie's, April's, and Rachel's are great! As for mine, well, in 1994, Shawna Waldron was "The Icebox" in the movie Little Giants; now, however, she seems to be kind of a borderline porn star.

Meredith- Camryn Manheim would be good, but she is too old and a little too plain, if you know what I mean. And I THOUGHT I loved Melissa McCarthy until I saw Bridesmaids and now I am enraptured with her. She's hilarious.
