Today's the Day!

I got a fabulous night's sleep and woke this morning ready and eager to take on the Mud Run!

Secretly, I'm still nervous as hell, but here's my thought process:
1) This mud run is going to happen.
2) All four of us will survive.
3) We will have amazing stories and even better pictures.
4) I can't wait!

Have I told you there are 2,000 teams of four competing today? They stagger start all day long, beginning at 7 a.m. That means that as I'm writing this, already 500 teams have started.  And I still have to finish getting ready, meet up with my friends, DRIVE TO COLUMBIA and wait around for a couple of hours before I start.  Wow.

The cool thing is I know a couple of people who are competing too. Special shout out to this chic for getting her Mud on today. CRUSH it, Cindy!

That's all I got for now.  GO TEAM RIDICULOUS!

PS. My semi formal event was last night and I went with the purple dress. We pretended like it was prom and took pictures before hand. Plus, they had life-size cut outs of our school's first president and some of the women in uniform from the early days.  I really, really love life-size cut outs.
